Word Of The Day

On the matter of seasons greetings, I stopped saying Merry Christmas years ago, sticking with Happy Holidays. It's not a matter of downplaying any religious celebrations, but given the variety of cultures across the world, and with many festivities being held at around this time of year, I'm not about to go up to someone, ask their religious propensities and then decide which celebratory greeting I'm going to shout.

Maybe that is political correctness.
