So when I hear a film producer or director say that their superhero movie is going to be ‘realistic’ or ‘grounded’, I usually roll my eyes so far back in my skull that I can see my brain.

Superheroes and realism don't mix. If they did, we'd have them in real life.

If I wanted realism, I’d watch a documentary.
