I just realized creating characters in video games such as Dungeons & Dragons Online, where players have to go out questing for a chance to get ever newer and more powerful items, isn't so much about improving your characters' stats as it is figuring out which items you want to wear that day because something is eventually going to clash.
'Yeah, I like my Adherents of the Mist set, but I'm feeling more like a Spring Ensemble today, okay maybe more like an Autumn when it comes to massacring ogres. Sure I lose ten Armour Class and nineteen Dexterity, but sometimes I just want to shine, okay? And don't get me started on what colour tassel to wear as my trinket."
And do that for EVERY character.
