We've got a federal election in Canada this coming Monday, October 21st. Back in mid-September, the Federal Liberals seemed to be a shoe in for second consecutive win under current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. However, their main rivals, the Federal Conservatives, have made a rebound and now the odds are dead even.
One of the promises Mr. Trudeau made prior to the last election in 2015, was looking into and making electoral reforms which would end the first past the post system we have now. That promise died about a year and a half later.
I have to wonder if Mr. Trudeau is thinking to himself now 'maybe I should've done something about that...'
