And it's another reason I don't get involved in a lot of new shows. have a record of liking shows that the networks aren't fond of, and then promptly axe them.

Case in point, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. It aired for a single season, from 1993 to 1994, and starred Bruce Campbell as a wild west bounty hunter. For me, I enjoyed the quirky humour, the cliffhanger callbacks to serials of old, and the riffs on pop culture. And Fox cancelled that one, too.

Fox also cancelled Firefly, but I didn't really get into it. Wife did though, so that one's on her.
