The film adaptation of Wonder Woman has been out for just under a week, and at the time of this writing, has grossed over $263 million worldwide.

In a first for the DC Extended Universe, it's been getting glowing reviews. While previous films in the series made money, critics and fans have been... somewhat disappointed.

I won't lie. Following the first three films in the DCEU, I was scared. Wonder Woman, for me, deserved to be on the big screen. While just as powerful (arguably more so) as Superman, instead of moping about over her powers in the film, she uses love and hope. That message carries forward, even in the setting of the First World War.

Wonder Woman. Not just a very good DC super hero film, but a very good super hero film period.

The Blu-Ray release can't get here soon enough.
