Later this year, AMD will release its Ryzen processors and Vega GPU.

It's been years since I had an AMD based system. The company had it's moments back in the late 90's into the early 2000's as affordable, powerful alternatives to Intel's offerings. Since then, however, AMD slowly lost ground as Intel pushed forward.

It'll be interesting to see if history repeats itself. I could use a hardware upgrade.
