Word Of The Day

Canada has been a multicultural country as long as I've been alive. I love that. I love that people from other countries move here and continue their cultures and show them off to others.

When I see someone whose heritage is African, Chinese, Aboriginal, Middle Eastern or whatever, I look at them and wonder about their cultures, their histories, their languages. How is it different than mine? What new and interesting things can I learn from them? What common ground brings us all together?

All of these cultures enrich Canada. And I am thankful for that.
