It's an interesting cultural phenomenon, watching an election underway from a different country's perspective.
I speak with fellow Canadians about politics and what's underway in the United States. Some cry "Heaven help us if Clinton is elected!" or "I pray that Trump doesn't get in!".
Ultimately, that stress for us is useless. Regardless of the outcome, we have no say in what happens come the day to vote. It's not our country. We have no authority on the outcome of the US election. That's up to the Americans.
So at the very least, we can kick back and watch the fireworks.
